Every Thursday and Friday, the British Primary School of Wilanow comes alive with colour, creativity, and conversation during its vibrant ArtClub sessions, one of the many enriching co-curricular opportunities available to students.Led by Ms Olena, founder and art teacher from Art for Kids, the workshop offers a hands-on, design-led experience that blends visual creativity with language development. While immersed in exciting artistic projects, students naturally practise their English through informal discussion and collaboration, making it an ideal environment for both native and non-native speakers to build confidence and fluency. Each week brings a fresh theme and new techniques to explore. Students may find themselves designing architectural models, projecting imaginary cities, or crafting inventive structures from everyday materials. These projects not only spark imagination but also nurture skills in planning, problem-solving, and spatial thinking. The workshop is grounded in a student-led approach where young artists are encouraged to express their ideas freely, share opinions, and reflect on their work—an ethos that reflects BSW’s broader commitment to inquiry-based, creative learning.ArtClub is more than an after-school activity; it’s a space where creativity meets communication, and where students develop both their artistic voice and linguistic confidence. It’s just one of the many ways BSW supports the growth of well-rounded, expressive learners.Well done to all our young designers, and a special thank you to Ms Olena for guiding their artistic journeys with such passion and vision.
